How does your sleeping position affect your health?

How correct is your sleeping position?
How you prefer to lie down can say a lot about your health. For example, did you know that some sleeping positions can be very harmful to your body? These are important things to know because we spend a third of our lives asleep.
People who sleep can be roughly divided into three categories: back sleepers, side sleepers, and stomach sleepers. The way you sleep can be very good for you, but it can also be the cause of some of your physical illnesses.

on your back.
Do you sleep on your back? Then you are in luck because it is the healthiest way to sleep! This is because it is the most natural position to lie down. This position puts less stress on your vertebrae because they are placed on a horizontal line. It also allows the back, neck, and other muscles to experience less stress. You can also let your face rest in this position, which is best for your skin. Would you like to dig your face into your pillows? This increases the risk of sleep bruxism. The only downside to sleeping on your back is that it causes snoring.

on your side.
Do you sleep on your side? You are definitely not the only one, as this is the most common sleeping position. When you sleep on your side, you may feel pain in your arms and legs because you are constantly lying on your side. Sleeping on the right side is also not good for digestion and heartburn. Benefit: Sleeping on your side improves blood circulation and reduces snoring.

on your belly.
We have bad news for stomach sleepers. This position is the most harmful. A complaint will appear around the neck because your head is completely wrapped, which also causes back problems. Your vertebrae are in an abnormal position, which makes you move more and be more anxious when you sleep. To be able to breathe correctly, you must move more than once to the left or right. Also, try to lie on a full stomach; It’s not the best feeling in the world!
